High speed cannot be achieved by only increasing the number of turbines and the power installed. There is a limit over which the hotspot covered per total area to be shotblasted cannot physically be increased unless you rethink the way the whole process of throwing shot to the part. In this solution, in fact, the upper wheels are installed with a certain angle. This technique avoids the shot to sit on top of the area to be cleaned. It is common in fact for straight wheels to reach a maximum amount of shot per minute because to much shot would result in a more covered area by the same shot.
The inclination of the wheels allow also a wider hot spot resulting in a higher limit of quantity of shot that can be used per minute. This really enhances the possibility of increasing power on the wheels obtaining a faster throughput.

The cleaning brush approaches the material in such way that it guarantees an optimum surface removal from the shot.
The out feed conveyor is equipped with a standard two meter underside auger to ensure that any possible shot calling from the material is automatically conveyed back to bucket elevator eliminating any shot from floor surface and guaranteeing clean and safe work environment.

Companies that use common shotblasting equipment know how difficult it is to maintain clean the machine when you have drill caps or drill chips or, even worse, oxy cutting burrs going through the shotblast.
These thermally treated very hard particles tend to be discharged on the bottom side of the machine into the auger. They tend to create any sort of complication like avoiding the shot to pass properly to the bucket elevator, or even worse, if those particles arrive to the shot distribution funnel in to the wheels.
Serious damages can then arrive to the wheels giving a bad surface cleaning result. FICEP has solved this problem with special devices foundry equipment that absolutely guarantees cleaned shot through the whole system ensuring a constant cleaning process at the lowest level of maintenance cost.
