This range of machines, the G type, is the most classic of all.
Straight wheels, compact blast chamber, reduced layout space and the highest performance in shotblasting due to our ETA wheel technology.
The turbines are the top of the class, the benchmark in shot blasting, this machine is equipped with the famous patented wheels ETA wheels.
ETA wheels allow a well distributed shot pattern called the hotspot.
This incredible surface treatment feature is unique around the world and makes this machine the best value for money in shotblasting today.
ItÂ’s extremely easy to understand that a wider hotspot would immediately give a higher productivity due to the fact that in the same amount of time or, in the same amount of feeding speed of the steel beams or plates through the blast chamber, the treated surface is bigger. Simple!
The advantages are even greater. Everybody knows that shotblasting require maintenance. With this solution maintenance costs are reduced to the minimum:
- increase of capacity
- minimization of electrical driving power
- optimization of service life
- symmetrical blade abrasion
- optimized distribution of abrasive /increased “hot spot”
- less wear of abrasive / less refills of abrasive/ reduction in cost
- reduction of sound level/ reduction in the cost of the sound proof cabin
- higher availability of the machine due to longer “in production” intervals
- discharge of all abrasive carrying components
- decreased abrasive cycle
If you have a long experience in shot blasting or if it is the first time you are thinking to invest in shot blasting you have to call us.
We will be delighted to go through all the details of our dedicated steel construction roller conveyor shotblasting equipment. Years of experience in installation of this type of technology in the steel construction field pushed us to develop technical aspects that were previously under estimated in this application.
These machines have real 3 layers of outside bolted manganese liners all around the blast chamber to guarantee the longest life ever of the machine.
The whole blast chamber as well is in manganese steel. This characteristic makes the machine practically impossible to destroy guaranteeing a very long lasting solution. The shotblasts you find on the market today are made of normal mild steel that gets holes through it just after a few hours if not very precisely maintained in the liners area. FICEP solved this very common shotblasting problem by simply making the chamber a fully manganese hard material cage.
The cleaning brush approaches the material in such way that it guarantees an optimum surface removal from the shot.
The out feed conveyor is equipped with a standard two meter underside auger to ensure that any possible shot calling from the material is automatically conveyed back to bucket elevator eliminating any shot from floor surface and guaranteeing clean and safe work environment.
FICEP has special solutions if you drill and cut or cope before shotblasting or if you vice versa shotblast before drilling and cutting.
Companies that use common shotblasting equipment know how difficult it is to maintain and clean the machine when you have drill caps or drill chips or even worst oxy cutting burrs going through the shotblast.
These thermally treated very hard particles tend to be discharged on the bottom side of the machine into the auger. They tend to create any sort of complication like avoiding the shot to pass properly to the bucket elevator or even worst if those particles arrive to the shot distribution funnel in to the wheels.
Serious damages can then arrive to the wheels giving a bad surface cleaning result. FICEP has solved this problem with special devices foundry equipment that absolutely guarantees cleaned shot through the whole system ensuring a constant cleaning process at the lowest level of maintenance cost.
Ask us more details and we will be glad to show you all these unique features.
Safety is very important to us and everyone that has been involved in shotblasting knows how dangerous could be the air that remains inside the chambers after this process. The gases that are generated from shotblasting oxydated steel are highly explosive.
FICEP guarantees ATEX 1 regulation in their supplies. Check our safety folder for more details.
