  • H BEAM BEVELING MACHINE MODEL TBM38-6
    1. Applicable industry: This machine is special machine for beveling the end of H beams in steel structure industry, bridge, parking garage structure, and construction. 2. Product feature: 2.1 The layout of the machine is double-column per side/quadruplicate-column double sides. One horizontal milling unit with three different milling cutters on one column. The milling unit, moving from bottom to top to mill both ends of the H beam. It can milling the linear ends and bevels of the flanges and the arc grooves of the web. 2.2 Double-column/quadruplicate-column are equipped on longitudinal and transverse CNC slipways respectively. Just input dimensions while processing H beams of different size then the machine can automatically adjust well. Also the machine is able to mill the bevels of H beams with gradient end. 2.3 There are external & inside rollerways whose speed can be adjusted by transducer. Model TBM38/12 is able to mill both ends of H beams without turning the workpiece around. 2.4 To ensure accurate positioning and firm clamping, we adopt the following clamping ways: positioning as per the inner side of the flange; vertical clamps with fluctuate jaws to clamp the workpiece; through the airdraulic cylinder to press the web of H beam tightly. 2.5 Screen-touch input and PLC control.     FICEP has manufactured this machine for more than thirty years and it has become one of the benchmarks for every machine tool manufacturer. Automatic CNC beam line for drilling shaped and flat profiles. FICEP Excalibur is the first monospindle gantry drilling line to process beams for the steel construction industry working with the cantilever system. The machine is hanging on and moves along its loading table. This simple and brilliant solution to small and mid-size steel Thanks to a set of wheels mounted on bearings, the drilling unit main body slides on a sturdy support crossing the loading table. This support is equipped with a rack that and pinion that guarantees the machine precise movement. An electro-mechanical sensor surveys the piece origin and allows to start the working cycle. The piece to be processed does not move and it's strongly clamped in the working position by an automatic double-effect hold-down (top and bottom clamping). ADVANTAGES OF THE SYSTEM Reduced footprint. The Excalibur only requires 50% of the space of a conventional beam drilling line. No manual programming is required. The CNC automatically handles the programming of drilling, pointing, tapping, countersinking, milling (Excalibur 12) and scribing (Excalibur 12) operations. No set up. The Excalibur features not one but two hydraulic clamps that are positioned automatically as part of the movable spindle assembly. This eliminates any requirement for the operator to clamp the piece manually. Easy material loading. The spindle axes positioning is guaranteed by ball screw and CNC controlled servo-motor, the spindle-holding carriage slides on self-lubricating high precision prismatic guides.
